we were laughing out loud in our class this afternoon. a Communications Theory class turned to an English class. our instructor corrects every wrong pronounced word. in the middle of the class someone blurted out “sutot”. i really don’t know what it means and why he said “sutot”. all were laughing except me. my seatmate said it’s supposed to be “sawtoothed”. my instructed added Rojan while i was laughing. i knew it was him. He’s a faculty of Engineering.
other words mis-pronounced:
- acsis – access
- spilling – spelling
- gem – gym
- teens – tense
- seaven – seven
- and many more.
if only i were to record my instructors voice..
our instructor also asked about singular forms of thes though it’s in singular form already:
- tense – ten
- audience – audien
- and many more
